We are quite busy preparing our next product, in the meantime, let’s share something regarding our day to day OpenStack usage. Bash is a great Unix shell and one of the things we love about it is the autocompletion features for many of our daily software. OpenStack is not an exception and there are some useful OpenStack autocompletion scripts for Bash.
These scripts provide us with the autocompletion features for nova, glance and keystone.
We would have just to copy these files to the Bash autocompletion folder, located in our case under this path:
Once the files are copied and bash has read the content, we would be able to use the autocompletion for OpenStack. Here is an example of the keystone command autocompletion output in bash:
